Featuring the song “The Summer Wind”
I will introduce you to some alternative chords to the basic ones you use daily. These chords maybe used in many other songs going forward and give you that professional edge to your sound.
The song will become more of a performance piece including a key change part way through and a chance to sing in harmony.

Find it difficult to memorise songs by heart?
Well, it’s time to meet the learning triangle.

 
In this workshop we explore Saz's triangle method that helps you break down songs, and learn a structure that will help you learn songs in a much easier, more efficient way.


Together we will look at a nice, simple song, and in the session will use this method to learn it all OFF BY HEART!

AD Cooke is a Professional Singer/ Songwriter and Vocal Coach with over 20 years experience.
This workshop is a vocal coaching session covering all the important factors needed for good singing.
This includes tips on how to improve and strengthen your singing voice, find your vocal range, and choose the right songs for your voice.
This is always a popular workshop and is a real eye opener for anyone who hasn’t had a singing lesson before.
Absolutely no solo singing required.

Featuring the Jazz classic “After You’ve Gone”
I will introduce some easily played ‘Jazzy' alternative chords, that will really make your playing stand out from the crowd.
This is one of only a few tunes that double in tempo part way through and then revert back to the original tempo.
This makes it a really fun piece to explore and a real crowd pleaser when played live.

The Blues sequence in the key of C Major has 3 chords C, F & G7.
Thats where we will start and progress through 6 different stages, each time modifying one thing over a sequence of 12 Bars.
From where we start, you won't believe where we will end up.
If you think you have already covered this and got the T Shirt, I can safely say, you haven't.
Although this might sound complicated, in reality, it isn’t and you should have fun in the process.
So, don’t be shy and give it a go!
