AD COOKE WKSP 1

In this workshop AD Cooke shares tips and tricks on how to develop your chest voice,
which is needed to sing pop/modern songs!
This also covers how to find songs to suit your vocal range and improve and strengthen your voice!

All levels, no solo singing required!

A.D-Cooke-WKSP 2 In this workshop AD Cooke shares tips and tricks on how to write a song from scratch, create lyrics and melody, find chords that fit together and explore common chord progressions!

In this workshop Charlie will run through what people need to get them up and running with Blues and some tips for more advanced players to help them progress.

In this workshop Charlie will cover how to structure solo's and add musicality to improvised parts. This will be for more intermediate players.

Josh-Jewsbury-WKSP 1 In this workshop Josh will lead you through the fundamentals of playing Bass,
whether its U-Bass or conventional Bass.

This workshop is for all levels of ability.

Marc-Gallagher-WKSP 1

In this workshop Marc will look at the key concepts when playing chords and melody simultaneously, such where to place our melody, the way music messes with our mind, and chord inversions to help your ukulele sing.
We will look at how to play ‘Bad Moon Rising’ in a Chord-Melody style.
Intermediate workshop for those confident with their strumming.
The ability to play 2nd and 3rd position chords are very useful for this workshop,
but not mandatory.

Marc-Gallagher-WKSP 3  

In this workshop Marc will lay the foundations of fingerpicking, giving an insight into beginners fingerpicking technique in pop, blues and folk styles. We will incorporate musical ideas, motifs and syncopation complete with a couple of songs to take away.

Marc-Gallagher-WKSP 3 Polish your strum patterns!
We will explore the intricacies of off-beat strumming, looking at the theory behind your inner groove.
Together we will learn strum patterns for Reggae, Samba and Rock, and you will be able to work out and create whatever strumming patterns you wish!

Matthew-Quilliam-WKSP 1 In this intermediate level workshop Matthew will show you how to go beyond playing every song in a song book the same by adding colour, variation and interest to one’s playing through dynamics, articulation and control.

Matthew-Quilliam-WKSP 2 In this advanced level workshop Matthew will present an introductory overview and breakdown of the syncopated rhythms that made George Formby such a well-loved and remembered ukulele player.

Peter-Moss-WKSP 1 A “Uke & Sing” style fun workshop from Peter, featuring 4 classic tunes.
The medley goes through 4 keys building to a fantastic crescendo and 2 part vocals. Suitable for confident beginners/intermediate players.

Peter-Moss-WKSP 2 A “Uke & Sing” style fun workshop from Peter, featuring 3 classic songs,
offering different tempos and keys.
The medley is topped with the ever popular song Hey Jude and has a really good feel factor to it.
